On Wednesday, Sept. 28th, on a perfect Fall afternoon, Lincoln School students, staff, and community members paid tribute to Mrs. Dorothy Sperone. Miss Dorothy (as she was affectionately known) was Lincoln School's main crossing guard from 2001 to 2020. We lost her much too early in the summer of 2021, and we felt it was necessary that we honor Miss Dorothy's legacy and contributions to the Lincoln School community. Together, the Lincoln School PTO and the Dumont Police Department P.B.A. contributed to this memorial signpost!
