As part of their study of the earth's tectonic plates and the effects of earthquakes, Mrs. Buckley's 4th graders built structures using only spaghetti and marshmallows. Their objective: Build a structure that could withstand an earthquake (or at least the much safer and gentler classroom representation of an earthquake)!
